Mandel on podium and Pytela wins
The first round of the FIA Central European Autocross Championship took place in the popular Hungarian town of Nyírad. The track also featured riders who rely on gearboxes and equipment from Beckert Technology.
Touring autocross 1600
After a tough weekend, driver of KRTZ motorsport Denis Pytela in a Škoda Felicia (Beckert SSG260 5-speed sequential gearbox) secured the victory with a 9-second lead after 7 laps.
Buggy 1600
German driver Rene Mandel, who is also the team manager of Fast and Speed, had some bad luck on Saturday when the stock (original) transmission in his Hayabusa engine failed. On Sunday, he swapped out the engine for one equipped with a factory-spec transmission from Becker Technology and fought his way to second place against strong competition.
SuperBuggy
In this category, we were represented by six vehicles equipped with Beckert GBX-5 sequential gearbox. The drivers from the Czech Republic performed best, with Václav Rojar deservedly taking 4th place in the final and Luděk Dubravský finishing 9th.
